My Top 5 Favourite Apps

Hi Everyone,

Hope your all having a lovely week! Today’s post is going to be short and sweet and is all about My Top 5 Favourite Apps in which i have on my phone and use all the time. In no particular order…

1. Twitter

Out of all social media apps twitter is definitely one of my favourites mostly because it’s really easy to interact and connect with so many different people. Even when you tweet something as random as “hi” it’s almost like it’s acceptable just for twitter. Make sure your following me there @CiaraaGlynn

2. Instagram

I love, love, love, LOVE Instagram. It’s probably my favourite app of all. I love sharing different photographs and looking at everyone’s stunning pictures. Everything on Instagram always looks so perfect. At the moment I’m currently trying to get a theme going on my Instagram so that my feed is perfect (well not perfect just more so that it looks really good and all matching) if anyone has any insta tips/hacks be sure to let me know! Also follow me CiaraaGlynn

3. Snapchat

I have a love/hate relationship with snapchat. I go through phases of using it loads and phases of not using it at all. At the moment I’m using it all the time, snapping different adventures I go on and also lots of makeup looks and of course food because who doesn’t take a picture of their lunch these days? If we’re not already friends on snapchat be sure to add me CiaraaGlynn

4. Facebook

I’m not a huge fan of Facebook but at the same time i wouldn’t be without it. I connect with friends through messenger and I use it most for saving or sharing photos or checking into different places. I have to admit I have been using it alot more recently purely because of the new “on this day” memories section as I love looking back on my memories with family and friends so the more I share the more memories I make!

5. Around Me

I love this app I’ve been using it for the past couple of months and it’s great! If you’ve never heard of it before it’s basically an app that senses your location and tells you everything that’s around you. Pubs, Clubs, Bars, Restraunts, Shops, Parks etc can all be found on this. It’s really handy especially when travelling or just need to find somewhere to eat. It’s a must have on your phones I’ve found places in my area that I never even knew existed just from using this app
That’s it for today these are my Top 5 Favourite Apps on my phone! These apps are all available for Free from the App Store. Let me know what yours are in the comments

Cleanse, Tone and Moisturise- NuSkin

Hi Everyone,
For just over a week now I have been using the Cleanser, Toner and Moisturiser that I got from  NuSkin. As Ive mentioned before in previous posts I do suffer from dry skin etc so the products they have sent me are for combination to oily skin which suits me perfectly. For a while I had stopped using any sort of Cleanse, Tone and Moisturiser routines but I thought when I received these I’d give it a go again.Founded in 1984, Nu Skin is a direct selling company that distributes more than 200 premium-quality anti-aging products in both personal care and nutritional supplements categories.

Here’s what I received in my NuSkin package:

This is a Soap-free facial cleanser for combination to oily skin which balances oil without causing any dryness. Normally I would apply this using a cotton pad to clean skin. I feel by having a shower and then using this works best for me as I can see any dirt or makeup being removed from my skin which I may have missed. I always apply this first, I then rinse it off well and continue with a toner. I found this cleanser to be very gentle on the skin and left my skin feeling very soft and fresh.
The key features in this Pure Cleansing Gel are: It frees pores of oil, dead cells, make-up and pollution, giving you healthier looking skin. The extracts of lemon, geranium and fennel help balance oils in the skin. Sage, marigold and elder flower helps to purifies the skin. Whilst Chamomile and cornflower extracts delivers soothing and calming effects. This Cleansing Gel smells great may I add and can be used morning and night. (I normally just use it once at night time after I’ve showered.)
This Pure Cleansing Gel can be bought at the price of €25.15 or currently at a web price of €23.90. This is for 150ml bottle which will last you a good while.

This is a toning liquid also for combination to oily skin. This bi-phase, alcohol-free toner restores the skin to its ideal pH level while also providing an instant matte finish to your complexion and while helping control oil in the skin.
The key features of this PH Balance Mattefying Toner are: It helps to combat free radicals for smooth and radiant looking skin. It’s Bi-phase formula instantly reduces shine and helps control oil levels in the skin. It helps minimise the appearance of pores for a more refined and refreshed appearance and also helps restore skin to its optimal pH level.
After cleansing using the Pure Cleansing Gel apply the PH Balance Mattefying Toner to the face and neck using a cotton pad. Make sure to shake the bottle well before each use to activate. I am really loving using this Toner it’s a great combination with the cleanser and has left my skin looking great with no breakouts.
This PH Balance Mattefying Toner can be bought at the price of €23.00 or currently at the web price of €21.83. This is for a 150ml bottle which in my opinion is a great size for the price you pay for this product.

Moisture Restore Day SPF 15 Combination to Oily Skin features unique colourless carotenoids to enhance the skin’s natural resistance to the environment. These colourless carotenoids exhibit a unique stability when exposed to light, which offers great protection against light-induced free radical damage. SPF UVA/UVB protection also helps to fight against premature ageing of the skin which can be caused by the sun. That is why this moisturiser is like a high performance lotion that hydrates, protects and promotes vibrant, healthy looking skin all day, every day.
It’s key features are: It increases the skin’s natural resistance to environmental exposure through natural antioxidant protection. Containing SPF 15 it helps guard against skin-ageing UVA/UVB exposure. It promotes vibrant and healthy looking skin. It has an oil-free and mattefying formula which reduces shine on the skin.
Moisturising is the last step I do after Cleansing and Toning. By using my fingertips, I apply this generously to my skin after using the cleanser and toner also from this range. I find that this routine works best for me but you may find a different routine that may suit your skin better. I love using a good moisturiser and this is the best one I’ve used in a while. I would normally use the Simple kind to skin light moisturiser but find it still leaves my skin quite dry whereas this one has left my skin feeling soft and looking fresh, awake and again with no breakouts which is a problem I do have with some products.
This Moisture Restore Day SPF 15 Cream is priced at €52.41 or at the web price of €49.08. This is for a 50ml bottle. I would recommend using this in small amounts, very generously which can help make the product last longer.

All of these products are available over on the website

I would definitely recommend checking out their range of different products they have over on their website. I know these products are a little bit in the pricey side but it is definitely worth the money for a good Cleanser, Toner and Moisturiser.
Let me know if you’ve tried any of these products before and what are your thoughts on them!

Twitter,Instagram, Snapchat: CiaraaGlynn Oversized Waterfall Jacket

Hi everyone!
On Tuesday evening I attended an exclusive preview of the new Marvel Movie Dr.Strange at Cineworld in Parnell centre Dublin! It was only 15 mins long but it was amazing and I can’t wait to see the full movie in cinemas October 25th! I would definitely recommend you put it on your list of movies to see as I think it’s going to be worth a watch.

For my outfit I decided to wear something casual but nice and also in the theme of autumn I wanted to wear autumnal colours. I love to do shopping online and one of my favourite sites is they always have a great variety of clothes to choose from! A while back I ordered loads of new clothes and one of them was an Oversized Waterfall Jacket in the colour beidge/nude. I have a bit of an obsession with jackets at the moment and I didn’t have one in this colour so I thought I’d go for it. I wore it to the event the other night and it was so comfortable. I know some people aren’t into long jackets so it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but for me I think this jacket is different and stylish at the same time. I wore mine with a plain white T Shirt (which I also got on Boohoo for €8 ) and black ripped knee skinny jeans (which I got from primark for €13) they are my favourite jeans they’re so comfortable and for the price you pay they are worth every penny! This jacket is suitable for all occasions in my opinion and can be worn in a dressy or casual fashion without any hassle. I got mine for €29 on the website but I think it could be sold out at the moment! Here’s a link to a similar one which is just as nice

Pumpkin Picking

Autumn has definitely arrived, the evenings are getting darker and the mornings are colder. Over the weekend myself and my friend Katie decided to get in the autumn mood and go on a road trip as we liked to call it. On Saturday the weather was perfect although it was cold so we decided to head off down to Meath for the day as we had seen online about a Pick Your Own Pumpkin patch and as neither of us had ever been to one before we decided to go and see what all the fuss was about.

We headed off to a Pumpkin Patch in Fordstown Co. Meath called Alright Pumpkin where you can pick your own pumpkin from their field. When we arrived we just loved it from the moment you step foot on the farm it felt like a movie. There was hay bales made into pumpkins, a teddy bar and also a Pokemon one (pikachu to be exact). There was a corn maze which was loads of fun. It brought you through the maze where you could pick your own corn to take home with you and when you came to the end of the maze it led out onto a huge field of Pumpkins where they had lots of varieties and shapes of pumpkins for you to choose from. Carving demonstrations also take place throughout the day too. Also you could pick your own potatoes which was a really cool bonus. There was a gazebo which had plenty of teas and coffees being served.

It is a perfect place for kids and also adults to get into the Halloween Spirit and by picking your own pumpkin from the field makes it even more special. I really enjoyed the day it was different, something I hadn’t done or gone to before but I will definitely go to one again next year. We finished off our “Pumpkin day” by heading to Starbucks for a pumpkin spice latte!

The pumpkins started from €5 each and I think the dearest one was around €20 it all just depended on the size Pumpkin you picked. The Corn was 2 for €1 and the potatoes were a bag for €3 which was great because you can fit loads into the bag!!

If you are thinking of going to Alright Pumpkin here’s How to get to Fordstown from Dublin. Take Exit 9 off the M3 onto N51 towards Delvin, Navan (north) then at the roundabout take the first exit towards Delvin, Athboy after 11km turn right onto R164 then take a left turn after 3.8km continue down that road and you’ll see Alright Pumpkin located on the left hand side of the road.
Hope you all enjoyed this post and let me know if you’ve ever been to a Pumpkin Patch and what are your thoughts on it!

Boutique Of Molly!

Hi everyone!!Last week the team at Boutique of Molly got in touch with me and I just couldn’t say no!
I checked out their website and I was really impressed at everything they have in stock. They have a range of different clothes to choose from and also have FAB bags and purses. There was so much to choose from I found it hard to narrow it down so I went for just a jacket that really stood out to me. This is the Claudia jacket available on the website, it’s black in colour (who can ever have enough black jackets in their wardrobe??) The Claudia jacket really stood out to me as it’s in my opinion a must have for any autumn/winter wardrobe.

I ordered from the website which delivers worldwide at really good delivery rates, As being in Dublin I expected it to take ages for delivery from London but believe me it got here really fast. I ordered it and it was here within 3 working days which is pretty good considering it came all the way from London!!

When my Pretty Pink Parcel arrived I was so excited I opened it up and tried on the jacket straight away! It was perfect! From the material to the fit I just loved it. The material is like a suede type, it’s really soft and great quality. You can match it up with almost anything which is great and it was reasonably priced at £29.95 which in Euro works out around €33.93 which is brilliant value for money I must say. When I wear mine I roll up the sleeves just so I can show off any jewellery I might be wearing. The jacket looks good both ways weather the sleeves are rolled up or kept down.

I would definitely recommend checking out Boutique Of Molly if you haven’t already you can check their full range of stock online here and also follow them on Twitter @boutiqueofmolly and Instagram @boutiqueofmollyuk

Also you can use my code “CIARA20″at the checkout and receive 20% off your order. I definitely wouldn’t pass on this opportunity its a must on your list of things to do. Who knows you could be just one click away from a whole new autumn/winter wardrobe!

Don’t forget to post a #BOMSelfie of what you got in your Pretty Pink Parcel!!!

Happy Shopping!

BRYT Skincare|Calm Serum

Hi everyone,

Today’s post is all about beauty and skincare. Last week the lovely team at BRYT Skincare sent me out a bottle of their Calm Serum to try out. Calm Serum is described as a wonderfully absorbent serum specifically created for combination to oily skin.I had never heard of anyone using this brand and never read any reviews until just recently as it’s just been launched in Ireland. This breakthrough beauty range is free from sulphites and chemical nasties, which makes it the perfect option for maintaining beautiful skin for all ages. For me I was so excited to try this product out. I suffer from dry skin and breakouts quite often which is no fun at all.

I have been using this product for a few days now and I can already notice a clear difference in my skin. I’ve used a lot of different skincare products. Some have worked well others not so much. I honestly can highly recommend the Calm Serum from the BRYT Skincare range as it has really worked well for me and is really gentle on the skin. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and soft. I use this product twice a day and have been looking more awake and alive since using it!!

From its beautifully coloured, appealing and attractive packaging this range is aimed at evolving skin of all ages but in particular those between the ages of 16-25. BRYT Skincare advocates a simple 3-step process of Cleansing, Nourishing and Protecting to maintain an uncomplicated yet effective regime. It embraces skincare as part of a healthy lifestyle, along with the basics of exercising, getting enough sleep, eating a balanced diet and drinking lots of water.

BRYT Calm Serum retails at the price of €24.50 and comes in a 30ml bottle. This product is specially created for combination to oily skin and contains skin balancing active ingredients which penetrate deep down to help regulate and normalise skin rediscovering it’s natural equilibrium. This product contains their unique APS formulation, It is rich in essential oils including Mimosa, Jasmine and Rose Absolute, plus skin-balancing active botanical ingredients including Watercress and Nettle, and moisturising Kalahari Oil.
BRYT Skincare have a range of different product for ladies and also for gents to choose from.
It is recommended to use Calm Serum after cleansing with BRYT Cleanse, applying 1-2 pumps of the serum to your finger tips.Gently tap the product into the face and work from the top of the hairline and work down to the neck.Allow a few seconds for the product to soak in before applying either BRYT Day or BRYT Night.

You can just use Calm Serum also on its own without the other products which is what I’ve been doing but I definitely want to try the 3 step process. Also I have been using this product as a primer for my makeup and it works really well. I will definitely be using this as a primer from now on. A lot of MUA’s are using this as a primer most recently MRS Makeup Michelle used it on Samantha Mumba at her recent gig in dublin and she loved it. When my bottle is empty I’ll be straight on to purchase another one for sure. I just LOVE IT!!
Calm Serum is available from beauty boutique and can be bought online here:
And this is also available in store from McCabes, Sam McCauley and Shaws Dept Stores

I highly recommend BRYT Skincare and advise you all to check them out if you haven’t already. Also make sure to follow them on twitter @brytskincareIRE and also on Instagram @brytskincareireland to check out more photos of their beautiful range of products!!
